Luke’s Lobster – The Famous Lobster Roll from New York have arrived in Tokyo!
While Singapore and Bangkok are flooded with the entry of Japanese brands such as BAKE Cheese Tart and Croissant Taiyaki, Tokyo instead sees an entry of popular chains from New York such as Luke’s Lobster and Dominique Ansel Bakery.
Both locals and tourists want to have a taste of the famous Luke Lobster. Since I won’t be travelling to New York anytime soon, it makes sense to try Luke’s Lobster since it’s here in Tokyo.
Located on Cat Street just next to Harajuku / Omotesando, you can choose from 2 sizes – Regular [¥980] and US [¥1580].
After ordering, you will have to wait for it to be prepared. In the meantime, you can look for available seats since its free seating!
Here comes the fresh Lobster Roll! The Maine lobster meat was thick and chunky and I loved the sweetness of it. Paired together with the lightly toasted soft buttered bun, it made for a perfect snack or meal at any time of the day!
I tried several lobster rolls in Singapore and none actually matched the one I had at Luke’s Lobster. You really have to try this when in Tokyo!
