Pratunam Morning Market

By Wilbur Suen

Pratunam is a place famous for shopping and street food. There are so many wholesale shopping malls and the most popular one would be Platinum Fashion Mall where you can really shop in comfort (air conditioning).

Females, if you are more adventurous and willing to forgo your sleep, you have to visit this Pratunam Morning Market. They are open from 4am to 9am, and it is around the area of Baiyoke Sky. I would recommend you to come here from 5am onwards.

This morning market is really for females as I really could not find anything for males. So guys, you are really here to accompany your female partner.

Pratunam Morning Market - Shops

This is a wholesale market and hence, for most of the stalls, you have to get 3 pieces onwards to get a good price. Some of them are even going at 100 baht per piece. As this is a wholesale market, you would expect many people pushing trolleys while they are shopping so be careful.
