Siam Plearn Night Market – Finally a proper replacement of the old Siam Square Night Market?

By Wilbur Suen

Do you miss Siam Square Night Market? If you remember, street vendors used to sell their stuff along the pavements of but they were forced to move elsewhere, somewhere which tourists won’t go. So, there’s some redevelopment in Siam Square and many buildings will be demolished. Bonanza Mall is one of the affected malls and at the moment, their space is occupied by a new night market called “สยามเพลิน Night Market”. In English, it’s called Siam Plearn Night Market.

We don’t know how long will this night market be around but since it’s available, just take a look and do some shopping.

They are located at the entrance of Siam Square (next to EveAndBoy) and opposite MBK Center.

Although it is marketed as a night market, they actually open from 11am to 11pm.

There are over 100 stores selling the usual night market stuffs, fashion items, souvenirs, etc.

A night market won’t be complete without food and drinks right?

Don’t worry, there’s also a section dedicated to food and drinks to fill your stomach.

We have no idea how long this market will be around but our guess is that it will be around till there is further development to this plot of land. Meanwhile, just enjoy while it lasts.
