Bangkok is one of the top tourist destinations but everyone has a different itinerary. Some visit Bangkok solely for shopping while some visit Bangkok to really relax – visiting spas and generally, hoping to stay in a quieter area. If you are of the latter, this post is for you! Amari Residences Bangkok is not like the Amari Watergate which most are familiar with.
Amari Residences is located at Soi  Soonvijai. You might not have heard of this area before but it’s just 5 minute drive away from the happening Thonglor area! So if you like exploring the cafes in the Thonglor, Ekamai or Sukhumvit area, this is a place you might want to consider!
Upon entry, you will find that there are only 2 check in counters. It is left simple, because they don’t entertain big tour groups here. I prefer such hotels now because  they are less chaotic.
While checking in, you can enjoy a glass of welcome drink to cool down.
And once you are done, take a walk under the covered walkways  to the next building. That’s where I’m staying, so I get to enjoy some scenic greenery every time I walk to my room.
Rooms
Amari Residences, as the name implies, is unlike your typical hotel. It really is like  “your home away from home”! When you step into your room, it’s as if you are staying in an apartment instead of a hotel.
One Bedroom  Suite
The one bedroom suite is the most popular category at Amari Residences and I got to try it out for myself!
You will be welcomed by a spacious living room complete with a sofa set and television.
There’s also a pantry and a dining table, so you can basically do your simple cooking here if you want to. Doesn’t it already make you feel at home?
Being a suite, the room has to be spacious and indeed it was. The bed was comfortable and I had difficulty waking up because I just wanted to keep snoozing.
The spacious bathroom also comes with a bathtub, so you can choose to either have a quick shower at the standing area or to soak  in the bathtub.
Three  Bedroom  Suite
I got to check out the three bedroom suites which is the largest of its kind at Amari Residences. As the name implies, there are three bedrooms here. So this will be perfect for a family of 6! This room actually takes up the whole length of the corridor, it’s huge! Here are some photos, check it out for yourself!
Breakfast @ Soma
Soma is the place to have your daily breakfast.
There’s a buffet of international cuisine for you to choose from. Don’t miss out on the egg station where you can choose  the method of preparation for your eggs.
Facilities
Swimming Pool
Don’t miss out the swimming pool on the top of the building! Being one of the tallest buildings around the area, you will get some nice views here.
Amari Residences is also located adjacent to the Bangkok Hospital so it makes an ideal place for those undergoing medical treatments.
Staying with Amari, I know that I will get a comfortable stay. At Amari Residences, it’s more than just comfortable, it’s a peaceful stay!
