Centara Grand is a name which most business associates will know since big meetings and events have a tendency to be held there. Do note that there are 2 Centara Grand in Bangkok! One is located at Central World while the other is located at Central Plaza Ladprao.
Today’s review is of course for Centara Grand Central Plaza Ladprao. They are located in the district of Ladprao, which is extremely near to Chatuchak Weekend Market and Union Mall.
As expected from the name itself, the lobby is big and grand, ready to host big groups.
Rooms
There are 565 rooms at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao, consisting of 11 room types. The rooms are still kept modern  which colours and furnishings which brings out the luxurious feel.
Executive Suite
We were hosted in an Executive Suite and the size of the room is really impressive!
When you enter, you will be greeted by a big living area with sofa, working desk and tv console.
Walk further in and you will see the comfy bed awaiting you.
Executive Suite comes with bathtub and rain shower, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
The walk-in wardrobe is very spacious and I really just felt like leaving everything all around with that amount of space.
Breakfast @ Chatuchak Cafe
Breakfast is served at Chatuchak cafe and no, don’t leave the hotel, it’s not at Chatuchak! It’s their in-house dining area called Chatuchak cafe!
Be greeted by Thai hospitality as you they sit you for breakfast.
The selection is huge. Just the bread and pastries alone, there’s so many to choose from. I must comment that the croissants from Centara Grand is really good that I keep returning for more.
Bacon! Who doesn’t love it!
The drinks here are also special and they have fruit infused water for you to choose from.
Facilities
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is surrounded by lush greeneries and it sort of gives you that Thai resort feel here.
Gym
This gym is quite big but this photo doesn’t show the full size of the gym though. There’s a even bigger area inside for training.
Despite being located next to a shopping mall, Centara Grand Central Plaza Ladprao has many restaurants under their wings, each specialising in different cuisines.
BlueSky Rooftop Bar

In the district of Ladprao, this is probably the only rooftop you can find and it makes sense to come here if you are staying here, just to enjoy some cocktails with a nice view.
Lobby Lounge
This lounge bar has a English feel to it and I wished I had more time to chill here because I enjoy the songs played here.
Suan Bua (Thai)
I had one of the best Thai food right here at Suan Bua! Check our out full review here!
Don Giovanni (Italian)
Hagi  (Japanese)
Le Danang  (Vietnamese)
Spa Cenvaree
Apart from restaurants, they also have a Spa! For those who really want to relax, this is good option if you are staying at Centara Grand because you don’t even have to travel.
There’s also a pavilion which is used only for special occasions and events such as Songkran.
There’s so much to explore at  Centara Grand Central Plaza Ladprao! I will definitely be back to try out more of their restaurants since I’m extremely impressed by Suan Bua Thai Restaurant!
