Where to get the best / famous Coconut Ice Cream in Bangkok? Free up your weekend and head on down to Chatuchak (Jatuchak / JJ) Weekend Market!

This is definitely a MUST TRY in the market. Trust me, you really need this to cool down your body. It is also something which you will never regret buying, unless you don’t take coconut. However, many who don’t take coconut fell in love with this!

There are several stalls selling Coconut Ice Cream, usually in a styrofoam bowl. For that, try it at your own risk and don’t blame me if it does not taste good.

The one I’m recommending is served in a coconut husk. You should be able to spot this store easily as it is always crowded. Scroll down for tips on locating this store.

At  35 baht, you get the following:

  1. refreshing, rich and soft coconut ice cream
  2. slices of coconut flesh
  3. 2 toppings of your choice (sticky rice, nata de coco, peanut, corn, atap seed, etc)
  4. complimentary cup of fresh coconut juice, a much needed thirst quencher when shopping under the intense heat.

Coconut Ice Cream Chatuchak JJ Weekend Market

Chatuchak Market is massive and to tell you the truth, I had a hard time locating this stall in the past. So here’s a tip for all of you.

The easiest way to get to this stall is via the entrance of Section 2, near Kamphaeng Phet MRT station.

Enjoy your delicioussss ice cream! It is Aroi Mak Mak!
