Croissant Taiyaki Bangkok

By Wilbur Suen

Croissant Taiyaki is a hybrid product of Croissant and Taiyaki. If you like croissants, you are going to love this! Ever since its launch at the end of last year, Instagram feeds have been flooded with Croissant Taiyaki and long queues are seen forming outside the pop-up stalls at Siam Square.

This delicious product is based on Croissants, giving a flakey and crispy bite. It is also dipped in large sugar crystals giving that extra sweetness and crunch.

The basic filling consists of Azuki Red Beans, Cold Custard and Ham & Cheese. Price starts from 60 baht.

It is then put on the grilling plate to let it cook.

And there you have it, the finished product, full of goodness! I personally like the Cold Custard, with it’s hot and crispy crust covering the cold and soft custard filling. Aroi Mak Mak!

Croissant Taiyaki is located at Mega Bangna, Emquartier and Central World. Remember to eat it while it’s hot!
