Some snacks before our mains arrive.
Ocean Trout in a Curry Coconut Milk Soup [360฿] – This is the famous “Tom Kha” soup but with using ocean trout instead of chicken/pork. It is rich and creamy and complements well with the ocean trout.
Spicy Pomelo Salad (Yam Som-O) [300฿] – A very refreshing salad to kickstart your meal. This is a Must-Order!
Erawan Crab Fried Rice [360฿] – This is Erawan’s Tea Room signature Crab Fried Rice with Crab, Crab Roe and Chilli Paste. Despite having chilli paste in it, it is actually not spicy but still very fragrant.
Stir-fried northern vegetables, chilli, garlic [230฿]
Thai Red Curry Tiger Prawns and Coconut Cream [1150฿] – Prawn lovers, try this. You get 3 big tiger prawns with a side of red curry to go with.
Steamed bread, pandan custard dip [200฿] So good, must-order!
Assorted dumpling with coconut cream [190฿] The dumplings here is boiled till they are so soft that it almost melts in your mouth! Don’t miss it!
Water chestnut dumpling, iced coconut syrup [190฿]
These are some of the signature items from Erawan Tea Room and in fact, there’s still lots to try. Perhaps we will return for another round to try out more dishes soon! If you happen to be at Erawan Shrine and want somewhere comfortable and nice to relax after that, head up to Erawan Tea Room. You won’t be disappointed.
If you love the food at Erawan Tea Room so much, you can consider going for their “All you can eat” buffet from THB 1,150++ per person. It’s quite a good deal.
