Fari Beurre Tokyo – Lightly Crisp Pancake and Beautiful Tarts!

By Wilbur Suen

First Avenue Tokyo Station at the basement of Tokyo station is filled with many shops and restaurants. For those who love characters such as Pokemon or Hello Kitty, you must check out this place.

After lots of shopping and walking, I recommend you to take a rest at this cafe if you love sweet stuff.

Fari-Beurre is located at one end of First Avenue Tokyo, towards the direction of Okashi (Sweets) Land where you can find many sweets and souvenirs.

Mixed Fruits Pancake. The pancake itself woke me up a little from my tiredness. I like how lightly crisp the exterior was. It’s the first time I’m eating a pancake which is crispy! The inside was light and fluffy and everything just went so well together.

It’s almost like eating Shibuya Toast in Bangkok but without the buttery goodness!

Grape Cream and Custard Tart. This was too beautiful that I had to order it! Fruits in Japan are usually delicious it was such a pleasure eating this beautiful and delicious tart. The grape cream was not too sweet and it was just on point!

They have an open concept kitchen and I would suggest you to order a glass of drink or coffee to wash down the sweetness of the desserts.

We walked through the whole stretch of restaurants and cafes before deciding on this. It was indeed a good selection!
