[CLOSED] Freebird Bangkok is now a All-Day Modern Bistro

By Wilbur Suen

This is an important update for Freebird Bangkok since they have just become an All-Day Modern Bistro. They are now open from 11.30am to 9.30pm (10.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays) every day except Mondays. The food has been simplified to something more common but the process from preparation to serving hasn’t. Once you speak to Chef Top Russell, you know that there’s a lot up his sleeves and you will be eager to taste his creations.

If you have seen our FB Live video, a simple bruschetta at Freebird takes 3 days to make from start to finish. It sets you thinking right?

Before we continue, here’s a good news for fans. As long as you dine in between 11.30am to 5.30pm on any day (except Mondays as they are closed) and mention that you are FRIENDS OF AROIMAKMAK.COM, Chef Top will give your table a free dessert!

Bruschetta [240฿] – As mentioned earlier, this simple item takes probably less than half an hour to put together if you outsource everything. But at Freebird, this takes 3 days from start to finish. The juicy and sweet tomatoes bring lots of flavour to this dish, a good appetiser to start your meal.

Fresh Tagliatelle Beef Bolognaise [380฿] – I don’t simply eat any pasta anywhere but this is one which I will surely return for because it’s so easy to finish.

Baked Frittata [520฿] – Scrambled eggs lovers, you need to order this, especially if you are at Freebird with a partner or with a group of friends. Loaded with salted cod, parmesan and rocket leaves, it is a must-try item to fill your stomach.

Fish n Chips [650฿] – A huge chunk of codfish, lightly battered and served with triple cooked chips. The cod fish is soft but firm and gives a good bite. The triple cooked chips need no further explanation because it’s everybody favourite.

If the above meals are too much for you and you prefer some bread, no worries!

The Ham & Cheese Melt [240฿] – A very simple ham and cheese melt but yet satisfying because of their homemade sauce.

Freebird Benedict [240฿] – This dish is probably a must-order for many, for those who want to go the safe route.

Smoked Brisket [320฿] – If you want something with more flavours, go for this but don’t forget to eat it with the BBQ sauce.

Desserts time!

Chocolate Brownie [220฿] – Slightly on the sweet side but it’s still very delicious and different. The brownie is moist at the right point, topped with salted caramel and ice cream and seated on a bed of peanut crumble. Happy.

Sticky Toffee Pudding [260฿] – This picture does no justice to this dessert. It’s a favourite among the crowd and it’s not as sweet as the chocolate brownie. A must-try dessert!

Again, as long as you dine in between 11.30am to 5.30pm on any day (except Mondays as they are closed) and mention that you are FRIENDS OF AROIMAKMAK.COM, Chef Top will give your table a free dessert!
