Tsukiji Fish Market is a must visit for sushi lovers. If you do run a search about sushi on Google, Sushi Dai and Sushi Daiwa would come up frequently. For those who are intending to try these 2 restaurants, be prepared for 1-2 hours of queuing.

Iwasa Sushi is considered a hidden gem which most tourists probably don’t know because it’s not located in the same area as the popular sushi restaurants. They are located towards the end of the market.

The queue here was relatively shorter, about 15 to 30 minutes.

The sushi here is served all at once, which is something different from Sushi Daiwa. This is of course better for those who want to have a good photo.

The sushi here is also very fresh and this is one place you should check out at Tsukiji!

This is the Chef’s selection which consists of 12 pieces of Sushi at 3900¥. For 500¥ extra, you get 5 pieces of sushi extra. It is definitely worth the price but only if you can finish all the sushi.

Their Miso Soup with Clam was also very delicious. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get a picture of the miso soup as I was too busy enjoying it.

We were given a jar of seasoned seaweed after our meal, as a gift.

For those who do not like queueing up for their food, this is a good alternative because the queue is shorter but you still get quality sushi!
