The Sukhothai Bangkok is a very unique luxury hotel on its own. As you enter the premises, you will discover symbols of an ancient kingdom in a living metropolis.
Tucked away in acres of gardens and lotus ponds, escape from the bustle of Bangkok to a sanctuary of soothing calm and subtle luxury. We heard about the popular afternoon tea sets from Sukhothai and we can’t wait to try it for ourselves.
The Sukhothai Bangkok recently launched the revamped afternoon tea set and it’s just beautiful!
You can get to enjoy the afternoon tea at the lobby salon. A quiet yet beautiful place, unlike any others.
Get to choose your choice of tea/coffee while your afternoon tea set is being prepared. We highly recommend you to go with the Sukhothai Tea. You won’t regret.
Here comes the afternoon tea set! At THB880++ per person, you get to enjoy savouries and mini pastries  plus homemade green tea and mango scones.
Prepare your cameras for the beautiful visuals! Just like you see many lotus ponds around the hotel, you get to have them part of your afternoon tea set too!
Let’s start off with the sandwiches & savouries first!
Marinated salmon & cream cheese, charcoal macaron
Ham, cheddar cheese & mustard, whole wheat bread
Coronation chicken & lotus seeds wrap
Tomato & mozzarella panini
Coppa & pickle, butter croissant
The mini pastries consist of:
Lotus & praline religieuse
Soft chocolate gateau, lemon curd
Fresh berry tartlet
Double chocolate cheesecake
Honey fruit financier
Pistachio & raspberry macaron
Sukhothai chocolate
The green tea & mango scones come with strawberry jam & clotted cream!
End off with some fruits?
Just before you end your afternoon tea, you get to choose from eight different chocolates, exclusively selected by Sukhothai’s chocolate expert, Executive Pastry Chef Laurent Gangguillet.
We had the milk chocolate and caramel chocolate. It was so good and we wished that we had another serving of the chocolate drinks!
If you want to try the all-new Sukhothai Afternoon Set, they are available every Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 5pm.
