There are many Novotels in Phuket alone but there’s a relatively new one located in the heart of Phuket Town called Novotel Phuket Phokeethra.
Phuket is not just about Patong Beach. If you really want to explore more of Phuket, you have to visit places like Phuket Old Town and one good place to stay is definitely at Novotel Phuket Phokeethra if you want to be near to everything.
From Phuket Airport, it costs about 650-700 THB if you take the metered taxi. Upon arrival, we were greeted by many Chinese New Year decorations!
As you enter, there are even more decorations, bringing the mood of celebration closer to you.
We stayed in the superior room and it’s actually quite a spacious room.
With the standard corporate design of Novotel, you will always feel comfortable and at home.
Look at the cute towels folded into an elephant!
A simple minibar, bathrobe, ironing board, iron and safe box are all standard in the hotel.
Take a look at the panoramic view from the room!
We also had the chance to visit the Presidential Suite and it was massively huge!
Amor Restaurant is an all-day dining restaurant on the ground floor and also the place for your breakfast! We had our lunch here and it was delicious! I ordered the salmon from the western menu.
When it turns dark, head up to Estrela Sky Lounge, a rooftop bar with both indoor and outdoor seats for you to have some drinks before you turn in for the night.
The swimming pool offers ample space for a quick swim but you won’t get tanned because it’s quite sheltered. If you want a tan, you have to occupy the suntan beds just outside the pool.
There’s a small gym in the hotel for those who want to keep fit!
For shopaholics, you will happy to know there’s a Robinsons Departmental Store and a Tops supermarket just outside the hotel. It is a good place to explore to do some shopping or just get your meal settled. There are also several massage parlours around the hotel too.
Of course, street food you to fill your stomach!
Now, after seeing all these photos, don’t you think that Novotel Phuket Phokeethra is a good place to stay?
