Pantip Plaza in Pratunam is a famous electronics shopping mall and they just completed a 300 million baht renovation which definitely gave it a refreshed look.
It is something similar to Sim Lim Square in Singapore and you can get all kinds of electronics here.
For many tourists, we actually don’t come to Pantip Plaza for the electronics, but in fact, probably more for the food here.
They had some renovations done to the mall and now it looks much more refreshed!
The streets outside used to be bustling with many street vendors but the government had put a ban on street vendors in Pratunam.
Eating in Pratunam is becoming more expensive with many popular brands charging ridiculous pricing for their food, because of the high influx of tourists in this area.
A&W! My childhood restaurant! Whenever I have a craving for A&W, this is the place I go to, because of the location and the fact that I always stay around Pratunam in the past.
The interior pretty much remained the same as renovations are mainly done to the mall and not the individual shops.
Another favourite restaurant of mine is S&P Restaurant & Bakery. I like their Kway Teow Pad Siew, American Fried Rice and Green Curry with Rice.
Here’s a look at the revamped mall!
