Park Society – Sofitel So Bangkok

Park Society of Sofitel So Bangkok is both a restaurant and a rooftob Bar. Located on the 29th floor, the restaurant offers you a romantic fine dining experience with your loved ones. The rooftop bar lets you chill out with your friends with a magnificent view overlooking Lumpini Park.

If you are here at around 5:30pm to 6pm, you can see the sunset and it is indeed a beautiful sight.

Restaurant

Upon  entering the  Park Society Restaurant, you will be greeted by classy and elegant decoration. You will also see the refrigerator which they store the food. Somehow it managed to blend well into the decor.

Here comes the food. At Park Society, they serve French Cuisine and the kitchen is helmed by Celebrity Chef Paul Smart.

The menu is changed regularly and the menu featured here is “Being on Top” at Chef’s Table. For every course of the dinner, it is served with a different champagne.

Scallop & Lobster (Pan Seared Scallop & Lobster Tortellini with Champagne Foam & Caviar)

The champagne foam brings a unique flavour to the dish and thankfully it did not cover the seafood taste, letting you savour the freshness of the scallops and prawns.

Chilean Sea Bass (Pan Seared Fillet, Asparagus, Wild Mushrooms, Clams & Mussels with Bouillabaisse Sauce)

The Sea Bass is so soft that it melts in the mouth!

From The Farm to the Ocean (Roasted Wagyu Tenderloin Fillet served with Tiger Prawn, Truffle Potato, Baby Vegetables & Truffle Jus)

Nicely grilled Wagyu Beef. Worth to mention is also the Truffle Potato, it’s really delicious. That is why so many dishes are now paired with Truffle.

Banoffee Pie (Caramelized Bananas, Biscuit Crumble, Vanilla Cream, Bailey’s Ice Cream & Chocolate Shards)

The service here at Park Society is excellent. For every dish served, the waiter makes the effort to ask if the  food is ok and ensure that our needs are met.

Rooftop Bar

After the fine dining experience, you can head on out to the Rooftop Bar and chill out!

At the same time, enjoy the magnificent view.
