Hidden Bangkok: Pee Aor Tom Yum Goong Noodles

If you are craving for some very good and authenthic Tom Yum Goong (Prawn) with noodles, you definitely have to come to this place, Pee Aor Tom Yum Goong Noodles.

Pee Aor Tom Yum Goong Noodle - Facade

They have many photographs of celebrities and famous people in the shop. However, many locals still do not know of this place, hence I have decided to classify it under Hidden Bangkok series.

Do be prepared to queue if you intend to come here during peak hours. Definitely not a place for you to slowly chill out, but a place for you to enjoy a very good and satisfying meal.

And now, I’m going to introduce the best seller of this restaurant, Tom Yum Goong (Prawn) Noodles. I have tried several Tom Yum Goong Noodles elsewhere and none was as good as this. And so, I would say this is probably the best place to have Tom Yum Goong Noodles now.

Pee Aor Tom Yum Goong Noodle - Cooking

What’s so special about this Tom Yum as compared to elsewhere?

1) The Tom Yum tastes authentic and it’s rich and creamy at the right level.

2) The Prawns used here are huge fresh prawns that is of quality.

So, all in all, you get a very quality Tom Yum Goong + Noodles.

With such quality food, one bowl is never enough. You will sure be craving for more!

Pee Aor Tom Yum Goong Noodle - Curry Egg Rice

Next item to try is Prawn with Crab Egg Rice.

The star of this dish is actually the crab egg which tastes so much like scrambled egg fried in thai curry sauce. If you have tried Somboon Seafood’s Curry Crab, yes, it tastes something like that. Definitely not as healthy but it’s so delicious.

The third item I see many ordering is Prawn Omelette with Crab Egg Rice.

Not hard to understand why this is on so many tables. The prawn omelette itself is already so appetising. Not too runny nor to dry but a little wet and together with the rice and crab egg, it’s such an explosion of flavours!

There are more popular dishes around and I will be back to try out more dishes and it will be updated here too!

Tom Yum Goong Noodles is located at Phetchaburi Soi 5. In fact, it’s relatively near to Pratunam vicinity. However, you are walking from Platinum Fashion Mall, it will probably take 15 to 20 minutes.

Very delicious food served here. If you can only take one dish, go for Tom Yum Goong Noodles. There are also lots of popular items on the menu too.

Thanks for this good recommendation and many other places / food recommended on your blog! Helped me a lot with ideas when I travelled alone. Just 1 thing to note, I went to Tom Yum Goong today and I think I saw their note outside their stall stating close on Mondays. May want to take note and confirm on this.

It’s better to tell the driver “Phetchaburi Soi 5” and you can walk in from there.

It is about 15-25 mins walk from Pratunam.

I never try their lobster version. The normal version was good enough. 🙂

I didn’t try their lobster version as their normal version was good enough for me :). Just order the normal one since you have already tried the lobster version.
