The Fifth Element of Sofitel So Bangkok – Fire, is right here at Red Oven, located on the 7th floor. Red Oven features its signature Molteni Stove and is styled as a World Food Market offfering dishes reminiscent of traditional street food fare but given a contemporary twist by Executive Chef Paul Smart.
The moment I stepped into this restaurant, I was amazed. It’s totally unlike a restaurant serving buffet, they are just so different from the rest. Â Scroll down and you will find out for yourself!
Red Oven (Lunch)
The high full-length glass window allows natural sunlight to light up the restaurant during the day time.
At another corner of the restaurant is a different seating style.
Look at all the beautiful food!
Som Tam (Papaya Salad) – a popular Thai appetizer.
Organic Salad Corner for those who are health conscious.
Japanese Sushi
Tarts
And an array of beautiful and tempting desserts.
If you just want to have only one dessert, go for the So Signature Ice Cream – Thai Tea! This is just heavenly especially if you love Thai Milk Tea. Everyone on our table just had to try it after hearing all praises for this.
Red Oven (Breakfast)
For Sofitel So Bangkok Hotel guests, the breakfast will be served at Red Oven, of course with a different menu.
The signature French Molteni Oven and live cooking stations.
The love of many, Egg Benedict! You can even order a fresh Egg Benedict from them.
Bread so beautifully displayed.
A wide selection of ham.
Cereal and fruit to end your breakfast.
And if you want something sweeter, they also serve Ice Cream in the morning. And I had my Thai Tea Ice Cream once again!
Club Signature (Breakfast)
Located on the 25th floor, Club Signature is a fashionable and luxurious lounge inspired by signature designer Monsieur Christian Lacroix, featuring a masterpiece of Art Creation. Here is a haven for travelers who expect personalized and impeccable service in the exclusive atmosphere of a private club.
Dine in style and privacy at somewhere more quiet.
Or if you like, you can choose to have your breakfast outdoors.
And this is the scenery you get!
Let’s move on to the food here.
Given such a small space, you definitely won’t see all the food available at Red Oven.
Ok, don’t get disappointed. Yes, indeed they don’t serve all the food at Red Oven, but there is something special here you won’t have at Red Oven.
You get to order from their Ala-Carte menu a wide variety of dishes, which is actually very personal. You can just sit down at your table and start ordering your food. If you are that lazy, you don’t even have to eat whatever is on the buffet table at Club Signature. So, this is what we had.
“Cat Walk” Â French Toast
So Sweet Pancakes “Summer Collection”
Siamese Breakfast – Thai Omelette Siam Fried Rice sauteed with spring onions and soy sauce. I asked for the best seller here and this is the one they recommended.
The dining experience offered at both Red Oven and Club Signature is really unique and you should really come and try it out!
