One of our favorite seaood restaurant – Savoey, has opened a new branch in the popular Terminal 21 Bangkok. If you have been following us, you would have noticed that they also opened an outlet at the mega Terminal 21 Pattaya last year.
Terminal 21 Bangkok is one of the most popular shopping centre visited by both locals and tourists alike. It makes sense because of its location, being in the intersection and interchange station for BTS and MRT. Step out of the shopping mall and you can make your way around Bangkok via BTS Asoke or MRT Sukhumvit.
We love the full length glass panels at the side of the restaurant and you can enjoy the view of Asoke while enjoying your seafood.
Savoey Seafood Restaurant at Terminal 21 serves live seafood and you can even see the live crabs on display as you enter the restaurant.
Being a huge fan of Savoey, we have almost tried everything on their menu but nevetheless, we still have to try out the dishes to see if the same consistency remains.
Green Papaya Salad & Grilled Chicken with Sticky Rice [175฿]
The grilled chicken and papaya salad comes as a set since most people usually have it together when in an Isaan restaurant.
Deep-Fried Crabmeat [400฿] – Underneath the fried skin are chunks of crabmeat for your indulgence.
Steamed Seabass with Lime & Chilli Sauce [450฿] – Steamed fish done well in the popular Thai lime and chilli sauce. It’s spicy and sour but so delicious.
Stir-Fried Mud Crab with Yellow Curry Sauce [230฿/100g] – When you visit Thailand, forget about chilli crab and head for curry crab. Be sure to go with white rice because the sauce is so precious.
Jumbo Crabmeat Omelette [420฿] ”“ You don’t need to queue for 1 to 2 hours to get to try the famous jumbo crabmeat omelette anymore. You can head to Savoey to have your fix! Here’s the huge chunk of meat cooked in an omelette.
Stir-Fried Cabbage with Fish Sauce [140฿] – This is a very simple yet delicious dish!
Pandanus Kale Juice [80฿]
Stuffed Beans Dumpling in Coconut Milk Served with Ice Cream & Coffee [180฿] ”“ Pour the coffee into the coconut husk and you will be amazed by the flavours from this dessert.
Grass Jelly with Mixed Beans in Fresh Milk [85฿] – We love the firm texture of these chunks of grass jelly, totally different from the ones in Singapore.
If you are here in the evening, be sure to catch the magnificient sunset! So beautiful! If you happen to be in Terminal 21 and craving for some good Thai seafood, Savoey is definitely an option you should consider. You can also check out our previous Savoey’s reviews of Tha Maharaj (Riverside) and Sukhumvit 26!
