The Mew Cafe is a homemade bakery which only opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Remember, don’t come here during the weekdays as they won’t be open.
Khao Yai is considered still a quiet city and they usually have more visitors on weekends when locals from Bangkok drop by for a day trip to relax.
There is a garden in front of the cafe which is really pretty to relax or take pictures at.
The interior setting of the cafe is really homely.
The cafe is filled with tons of cute and cheerful decor.
The Mew Khao Yai is really a perfect meeting place for friends and family.
They have a variety of seats to suit what you plan to order there be it a meal, dessert, a light snack or what not.
There are outdoor seating options as well.
This is how their menu looks like.
The Mr and Mrs Mew Tea Set is priced at 590 baht and here is what you can expect from it.
Mr and Mrs Mew Tea Set includes apple filo pastry, creme brulee, scone, chocolate mousse, seasonal fruit tart, salmon cream cheese, shrimp cocktail with avocado mango salad, mini calamari fritti and chicken salad on cracker.
We also got 2 different teas, green tea and peppermint tea. They import their teas from all around the world which you can ask them about when choosing your tea.
Overall, I think The Mew is a good place to include in your itinerary.
The Mew is quite famous for their Christmas Markets held at the end of the year. Sadly, as I visited in May 2017, I did not get to experience it for myself. I have however found tons of good reviews online and even from my friends. It is definitely worth checking out if you are there during winter.
