Bangkok, a city well loved by many is filled with many hotels ranging from three to five star hotels. Most of the three star hotels in Bangkok are considered quite good with the basic amenities available. Beddings are usually standard but today’s recommendation is one that offers quality bedding such as those you will find in four and five star hotels. Check out Thee Bangkok.
Thee Bangkok has been around since 2014 but the good thing is their rooms are still properly maintained. They are located at Sukhumvit Soi 20, relatively close to the main road, so you can actually walk to Terminal 21 where you can access BTS Asoke and MRT Sukhumvit.
The lobby is simple but filled with many plush seats which is good when you are waiting for your uber to arrive.
Check-in was simple and swift and I was led to my room.
The room is simple but elegantly done up. The bedding stands out from other similarly starred hotels because it is quality bedding which you usually can only find in four and five star hotels. It is definitely hard and uncomfortable.
From the picture, you can see that there is a window but in actual fact, it does not offer any view, it’s actually a backlit feature which you can turn on and off. If you would prefer a room with windows, you can do an upgrade to the next room type.
The bathroom offers you a large mirror and the shower area is quite spacious.
Outside Thee, you can find convenience stalls such as 7-11, massage parlours and some simple restaurants offering Thai food. Being located close to Terminal 21, BTS Asoke and MRT Sukumvit, this is a good option if you want to be relatively near to the train stations but do not want to pay the high price of a five star hotel.
The entry room level at Thee Bangkok starts from 1500 baht.
