U Nimman is but one of many U hotels and resorts around the world.
This is the reception counter at U Nimman Chiang Mai. They have chandeliers and a unique backdrop which looks like books on a shelf.
The lobby lounge is a nice place to relax at. It also has a tapas bar. There are also some books and magazines provided for you.
During my stay here, I found the staff at this hotel really friendly and helpful. Their service is outstanding.
At level 5, you can find the hotel pool and gym. You can relax by the pool in the day or even at night and enjoy a city view overlooking Maya Mall.
The Deluxe Room at U Nimman is 36 square meters in size. The air conditioning can be easily adjusted at the entrance by the door.
This is the king size bed. You can also request for twin beds if you would prefer.
There is a work desk in this room where you can get busy if you need to. There is a light situated right above the working area to give you some additional lighting.
The room also has a cozy sofa with some pillows to give the room a fun and artsy touch. This spot is perfect for taking some nice photos.
There is a television where you can enjoy some television shows, movies or just music.
You can even enjoy the television while using the toilet.
On the left, there is a rain shower and on the right, the toilet. In the shower, you can switch between using the rain shower or a normal shower head.
The toilet has blinds which you can control to be able to watch the television or to get some privacy. There is even a power outlet in the toilet if you need to charge your phone, tablet, laptop or what not while you are in there.
The room also comes with a personal safe, hair dryer, bathrobes, bathroom slippers and all the usual necessities.
Breakfast @ Rincome
Here is what you can expect from Breakfast at U Nimman’s restaurant, Rincome. There are chef stations where you can request for freshly made waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, poached eggs and omelettes. There are also special dishes like Eggs Benedict and Charcoal Waffles at the chef stations which changes daily.
Apart from the chef stations, the spread includes bacon, different types of sausages, cold cut platters, cooked ham, different types of mushrooms, cereal, salad, porridge, mee siam, fried dumplings, steamed buns, dim sum and the list just goes on.
There are also cut fruits and you can get fruit juices here if you don’t feel like having coffee or tea.
5 Minutes from U Nimman, is the Kat Rin Kham Night Market. It is situated right beside Maya Mall. It opens at around 6pm and closes at around 11pm. It is not very large in size but is a nice place to check out while exploring the Nimman area.
You can get a manicure here. I got a gel manicure at just 300 baht. Depending on the design you choose, the price range is from 100-400 baht. If there is something specific you want, you can even show her a picture to see if she can do it for you.
You can also do some shopping here. There are quite a few clothing shops apart from decor, cosmetics and food.
I tried the Nutella and Banana crepe and it was only 40 baht.
There is quite a variety of street food and snacks available here.
Think Park is located in between U Nimman and Maya Mall. It is just across the road from the hotel.
There is a bar here with live music. At this stretch you can find food, drinks and even a Thai massage place.
Think Park also has places to eat that open till late.
There is even a Tom N Toms Coffee outlet here which is open 24 hours.
